If you cancel at least 48 hours before the pickup date and time, we refund the amount paid in full.
Cancelling at least 48 hours in advance
A booking cancelled at least 48 hours before pickup is refunded in full, including any location fees.
Cancelling less than 48 hours in advance, or no-show
If you cancel less than 48 hours before pickup, or do not show up for pickup, the amount paid is not refunded.
The 48 hours are counted back from the pickup date and time stated in the booking confirmation, and the time of cancellation is when we receive your request.
Right of withdrawal
The 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts does not apply to our bookings: under art. 16 letter l) of Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) no. 34/2014, the exception covers car rental services where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Cancelling a booking is governed by the rules on this page.
How to cancel
- By email to office@covareli.ro, quoting your booking ID. The booking ID is in your booking confirmation email.
- By phone, at +40 749 323 172, during opening hours: Monday–Friday 08:00–18:00, Saturday 09:00–14:00.
You may, optionally, use the model form below. We confirm the cancellation by email.
Refunds
Where a cancellation qualifies for a refund, we return the amount within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request, using the same payment method used for the booking (to the card you paid with). When the amount appears in your account also depends on the bank that issued the card.
Changing a booking
If you want to extend the rental or change the booking dates, contact us as early as possible at +40 749 323 172 or office@covareli.ro. Changes are possible subject to the car's availability.
