Who we are
A small company in Baciu, on the edge of Cluj
Covareli started from a frustration almost anyone who has ever rented a car knows: the price on the website looked good, and the one in the contract looked nothing like it. We built the opposite — a rate you see in full, from the first page to the moment you get the keys.
We don't have desks in three cities or a fleet of a hundred cars. What we do have are cars we know one by one, and the time to talk to every customer. When you call, you reach someone who knows exactly which car you are standing next to.
We rent the same way for one day and for a month: the same cars, the same posted rate, the same people on the phone.

They are simple promises, but we keep them on every rental — including when that means telling you we don't have the right car for you.
The price you see is the price you pay
The daily rate drops on longer rentals, and every price tier and deposit is shown on each car’s page. Any delivery fee appears in the summary before you pay, not after.
Cars that are ready, not just available
The fleet is serviced on schedule and checked between rentals. We would rather take a car off the road for a day than hand it over with a question mark on the dashboard.
Pick-up wherever suits you
From our office in Baciu, from central Cluj or from the airport, at the hour that works for you. Tell us in advance and we plan around your schedule.
You talk to a person
No phone menus and no forms that disappear. We answer the phone and our email, and someone from the team hands you the keys — not a machine.

We picked the fleet to cover four very different situations, from a day around town to a long drive with the whole family.

The questions we get most often
- What documents do I need?
- An ID document (identity card or passport) and a valid driving licence in the name of the person who will be driving. If someone else will drive too, tell us when you book so we can add the extra driver to the contract.
- How is the price calculated?
- A daily rate that decreases: the longer you rent, the lower the price per day. Every tier is listed on the car’s page, and the booking summary shows you the total before you pay.
- What is the deposit?
- It is the amount held for the duration of the rental and returned in full when the car comes back in the same condition. The amount differs from model to model and is shown on each car's page.
- Can I pick the car up at the airport?
- Yes. Choose your pick-up and drop-off locations right in the booking form. If a location carries a delivery fee, it appears separately in the summary, before payment.
- How do I pay?
- Online by card, through the secure Netopia processor. Once the payment goes through you receive a confirmation email with the car and dates you chose.
- Can I extend or cancel a booking?
- We extend if the car isn't booked straight after you — call us as early as you can. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pickup; after that the amount is not refunded. Details in the Cancellation policy.

Come see us in Baciu
Our office is in Baciu, at the western exit of Cluj-Napoca. If that's out of your way, we bring the car to the city centre or the airport — we'll agree on it when you book.
